Chiyoko Tanaka is a Japanese weaver/textile artist. She uses among other things collected fragments of old, worn cloth sewed together, for example tinted with Chinese ink
or mud.
Time is the central element in her work. Woven fabrics have been
deliberately worn away as a metaphor of
time. The textiles are poetic and a real pleasure for the eyes... I am in love! Link ♥
